A system which is based on the center is closer to the people.
The risks of revolt in an “oligarchical” system is double, but in the “democratic” system it is single.
The only revolt which the “democracy can undergo” is the revolt against “oligarchy”. The oligarchical system is exposed to the revolt between controlling classes and revolts it against the people.
Thus the democratic system is more reassuring.
The excess or the lack of richnesses creates obstacles for the supremacy of reason.
The excess leads to violence and the intervention of the police force.
The lack involves the disappointment and the installation of authority.
By creating a relation “Masters and slaves” within the people, rivalry and competition occurs, the extrèmes settle.
A balance can be established thanks to the force of the center where there is neither lack, nor excess, with a policy of the medium and defense of control at the same time.
A position which inspires confidence within all the classes of a population.
This is a policy easy to set up in the large democratic countries, like France for example, than in the small oligarchical countries.
The policy of the center is practical and easy to exert, but it is difficult to become “powerful”.
